Diet tips for maintaining Liver Health

A healthy diet is the first step for a healthy liver. There are several foods that can support liver function and cleanse away the toxins. Here are some of the recommended foods for a healthy liver:

Grapefruit: Rich in anti-oxidants, grapefruit is highly beneficial for the liver. It not only stimulates healthy liver cells but also possesses anti-inflammatory properties. Have a grapefruit for breakfast or drink the juice instead for a healthy start to the day.

Cranberries: Cranberries contain the anti-oxidant, anthocyanins, that offer several health benefits including protecting the liver from damage. They help reduce oxidative stress on the liver cells as well as reduce scarring of the tissue which can severely impact liver health.

Lemon water
